Originally born in Chico, Calif., Dan McGee has lived on both coasts and is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography. Several years ago, he discovered a talent for writing and became the racing writer for the Daily Sparks Tribune, covering everything from karts to airplanes.

About two years ago, McGee signed on as a SWM photographer. "Photographing softball is a challenge because you have to stay ahead of the action," McGee said. Dan enjoys the people who are involved in softball and finds the game exciting.

Unfortunately, due to a back problem, Dan can't play softball. He does enjoy hiking, nature photography, jazz and art as well as spending time with his daughter.
