Ed has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. He began his career in photography working for the Woodland Daily Democrat, covering various stories including sports.

He began working for the state of California in 1980, In '81 he was assigned as photographer for the governor's office. Ed is still assigned to that office and is working with his fourth governor.

In addition to working with the governor's office, Ed has worked as a freelance photographer for small newspapers and The Associated Press, covering sports at the professional and collegiate levels.

He was worked with Softball West Magazine for over ten years. Ed says, "One of the highlights while working with SWM was covering softball at the 1996 Olympic Games."
