Jerry "Buster" Grimm
Columnists

Jerry "Buster" Grimm seriously got into fastpitch softball in Hawaii in the early 70's. When he moved to Idaho in the 80's he switched to slowpitch. Playing was a tremendous exhilaration, but when he entered softball umpiring, via ASA in the 90's, this was a taste of heaven. Three years ago, he began to explore the senior softball circuit and found the ultimate in softballing life. Working senior games as an umpire, with the special rules, is a tremendous challenge. Jerry has helped Senior Softball USA develop a group of specially trained umpires to work Qualifiers and the World Championships.

Last year Jerry had the opportunity to also publish articles in three other magazines and newspapers concerning senior softball.
