SPARKS, NV – The ATG and D-12 softball teams combined to host the Sparks 1st Annual Winter Warm-Up tournament held at the Golden Eagle Regional Complex on Sunday, February 28th. Sixteen teams turned out for the double elimination event which was held to raise sponsorship money for the two local competitive tournament teams. "We kept the entry fee low to encourage teams to sign up," said Ted Soto of ATG. "Both of our teams lost our sponsors so we're holding this tournament to help out with expenses."

The day got of to a late start due to the foggy conditions and teams played all day before D-12 took the title in the if game.

Aftermath was the undefeated team as they sent Bucks into the loser's bracket with a dominating 21-7 win. They then waited for the winner of the Bucks vs D-12 game in the loser's bracket final. D-12 prevailed and set up the championship game where they defeated Aftermath 20-10 to force the if game.

In the if game, Aftermath was leading 15-11 in the bottom of the fourth inning when D-12 put together a nine run rally in the 5th to hold on for a 20-17 for the win.

Bucks finished in the third spot and Bad Guys were fourth.
