Midnight Madness lives up to its name

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Midnight Madness tournament held at Freedom Park in Sacramento, CA on October 5-7 was quite the party for softball players and fans alike. This years AthruZ Midnight Madness tournament had105 teams participating.

In the men's "D" division, 10 teams fought for the title. The Sac Banshees grasped the win, going undefeated, 4-0. Throwdown came behind in a close second with the Raiders in third place.

The Men's "E" was the largest bracket with 55 teams. In the end, the intense competition came down to Run Your Mouth versus Mendez Homes. Run Your Mouth took home the title going 6-0, while Mendez Home came in second, West Coast Ballers in third and Centerfolds was the fourth place winners.

The co-ed division had 30 teams vying for the title. Hard to Manage was crowned the champion with a 6-0 record. In second place was Cruz America and S C Cruzers came in third.

Bring Out The Party was the women's champion when they went undefeated, 4-0, against seven other teams. Ms. Dolla's Ball's weren't far behind, finishing in second place and Super Freaks came in third.
